Highlights:-
- One of the senior most mountaineer of Odisha, first qualified mountaineer of Sundergarh District and a published author who joined mountaineering in 2009 and since then climbed and conducted expeditions to more than 11 peaks in 5 countries including Nepal, Bhutan, U.S.A & Europe.
- Selected and sponsored by IMF (Apex body of Mountaineering in India under Ministry of External Affairs & Sports, New Delhi) for exploring and climbing an unclimbed Mt Kuchela Dhura (6024mts) on Nanda Devi ridge in Indian Himalaya under the leadership of Dhruv Joshi. It is the same region where IB & CIA lost a nuclear espionage device during a joint secret expedition in 1965 to spy nuclear activity by China after it tested its first nuclear missile on 16 October, 1964.
- First person from Odisha who was invited by International Exchange of North America, U.S Department of State for cultural exchange and to provide adventure training.
- Appointed as Secretary of IMF - Odisha under IMF East Zone Committee (2024)
