Dear New Member, 

Thank you for your interest in, 'Rourkela Trekkers Club'! 

‘Rourkela Trekkers Club - RTC’ an initiative by Kapisa Adventures Pvt Ltd (New Delhi) aims to create awareness about mountaineering and sport climbing among the youth (esp from the rural section of the society) of Sundergarh District.  

Mountaineering is not for everyone and so is this club. Those who have the passion for adventure and strong will power to challenge their own limits everyday are welcome to the club. Today, mountaineering is not just a hobby but it provides several opportunities from making a living to bringing glory to the state. Mountaineers stand a good opportunity to establish their career as mountain guides, outdoor & wilderness photographers, video bloggers. The opportunities can extend to starting an adventure camp or competing in sport climbing at Olympics or joining ITBP, Fire, Rescue & Disaster Management Departments by the Government and many more. 

On the request of several youth groups RTC has also started organizing an 'Introduction to Mountaineering' course of 07 days in the hills of Rourkela for free of cost. The course aims to select the talented youth and sponsor them for further training in sport climbing and mountaineering in Bhubaneshwar, New Delhi and Himalayan Regions.

4. Professional Climbing Course in Delhi or Bhubaneshwar (10 Days training + 03 members sponsored by Kapisa Adventures - New Delhi
5. Professional Mountaineering Course in Himalaya (30 Days training + 01 members sponsored by Kapisa Adventures - New Delhi
6. Birsa Munda Mountaineering Expedition to Himalaya and around the World
