One of the most fascinating and less frequented trek in Lahaul valley which is drained by two mighty Rivers – Chandra and Bhaga, this trek explores the upper Himalaya of Chandra Valley. The trek involves crossing high passes and many streams and Rivers. During monsoon, the meadows are full of wild Himalayan flowers

HAMPTA PASS TREK BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Day 2: Board the train from Delhi to Chandigarh and drive 310 kms further to Manali

Day 3: In Manali – Visit Hadimba Temple, hot water spring at Vashisth Kund. 

Day 4: Drive from Manali to Pirini, the trek start point and proceed further on a steep trek trail to Chikka (2745 Mtrs)

Day 5: Trek 5-6 hrs approx to Balu Ka Gera along the River valley with view of Jobri Peaks

Day 6: Trek 3-4 hrs steep to Hampta Pass (4270 Mtrs) and proceed 1 hr further to Siaguru. The pass offers beautiful views of Deo Tibba and Indrasan Peaks.

Day 7: Easy trek Shishu via Chattru.

Day 8: Drive from Shishu over Rothang Pass to enter Kullu Valley and reach Manali. The pass offers beautiful views of peaks in Lahaul on one side and Kullu on other side.

Day 9: Drive back 310 Kms from Manali to Chandigarh.

Day 10: Drive further 370 Kms from Chandigrah to Delhi.

Day 11: Fly to onward destination or optional Delhi sightseeing during the day.
