Trip Details:

 

Har-Ki-Doon, the hanging valley of Gods is a treat for trekkers. This moderate trek takes you to one of the least explored regions of Garhwal. The valley is dotted with wild Himalayan flowers and the whole valley looks colorful during the flower season in monsoon. As Har-Ki-Doon falls within the Govind Pashu Vihar (National Park), chances of seeing wildlife here are very high. Swargrohini group of Mountains dominates the background.

 


 

HAR-KI-DOON TREK BRIEF ITINERARY-2015

 

Day 01: Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel for overnight.

 

Day 02: Drive to Dehradun, capital of Uttrakhand State.

 

Day 03: Drive to Taluka (175 Kms) via Sankri.

 

Day 04: Start the trek to Osla, one of the most beautiful village in Fateh Parvat region.

 

Day 05: Trek to Har-Ki-Doon (11 Kms), the hanging valley popularly known as the ‘Valley of Gods’ is one of the least explored region of Garhwal and a treat for trekkers. It offers very beautiful view of Swargrohini peak.

 

Day 06: In Har-Ki-Doon – Explore the surrounding area

 

Day 07: Trek to Seema (13 Kms) after crossing Osla

 

Day 08: Trek to Damti (2-3 Kms before Taluka)

 

Day 09: Trek to Sankri (14 Kms) via Taluka and drive further to Naugaon (55 Kms) which is a very beautiful village

 

Day 10: Cross the River by a hanging bridge to visit the Temples of Lakha Mandal which is associated with Pandava from the epic Mahabharat. Post lunch drive to Dehardun and board the Shatabdi Express train to Delhi. On arrival transfer to the Hotel

 

Day 11: Depart Delhi or optional Delhi sightseeing, visit Red Fort, India Gate, President House and later board the flight to onward destination.
