 Coorg is a charming hill station in Southern Peninsula. Its famous for cool water, green rolling hills and beautiful scenery. Coorg seems like a little corner of England to the British. They left behind legacy, which is still an important source of National Wealth. The well laid coffee and spice plantations in Coorg have earned it the distinction as spice country. The trek passes through coffee plantation dense forest and valleys full of fresh and aromatic smell.

Brief Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi and transfer to Hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Fly to Bangalore followed by city tour in the afternoon. Visit vidhan sabha, cuubbon park, Lalbagh, Tipu Sultan’s Palace and Fort, Bull Temple, Handicrafts Emporium, etc

Day 03; Bengaluru – Mysore (140kms/5hrs)

Drive to Mysore en-route visit Srirangapatnam, once the capital of Mysore.

Day 04: Mysore – Mercara (160kms/6hrs)

Drive Mercara via Hunsur. Corrg (Mercara) is also know as Darjeeling of South India and home for tea, coffee, orange and Honey.

Day 05: Mercara – Bagamadala (40 Kms/3 Hrs)– Talacauvery (1-2 Hrs)

Drive to Bagamadala and trek to Talacauvery, the origin of River Cauvery

Day 06: Talacauvery – Mundurotu – Talacauvery (20 Kms/1 Hr drive or 4-5 Hrs Trek)

Drive to Mundurotu which is the boarder of Kerala and Karnataka States. Trek back to Talacauvery.

Day 07: Talacauvery – Igutappa Temple (22 Kms/4-5 Hrs)

Trek to reach Igutappa Temple which is one of the oldest temple of Coorg.

Day 08: Igutappa – Ballieyyatare – Kabbe (18 Kms/3-4 Hrs)

Trekking upto the pinnacle of Tadiandamole which is the highest hill in the Coorg district and and get down in the Honey valley at Kabbe

Day 09: Kabbe – Maletiruke – Karada (21 Kms/4-5 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast start trekking through the western ghat to Karada .

Day 10: Karada – Matre – Makutta (17Kms/3-4 Hrs)

Trek through the ghat to reach Makutta.

Day 11: Makutta – Sollekolli – Pookola (23Kms/5-6 Hrs)

Trek to reach Pookola via Sollekolli.

Day 12: Pookola – Birunani – Kottekundu – Narimale (20 Kms/4-5Hrs)

Trek along the border to reach Narimale.

Day 13: Narimale – Brahmagiri – Kutta – Nagarhole (18Kms/3-4 Hrs)

Trek to reach Nagarhole, the last leg of the trek. From the pinnacle of Brahamgiri one can have the panoramic view of two states (Kerala & Karnatka)

Day 14: Nagarhole to Bengaluru and fly to Delhi

Day 15: Depart Delhi or optional Delhi sightseeing, visit Red Fort, India Gate, President House and later board the flight to onward destination.
