Janja Garnbet from Slovenia wins first Climbing Gold Medal at Olympics 2021

It was the first climbing wall set-up at the Olympics but it shined when Janja Garnbet, 22 years young girl from Slovenia became to first women to win the first Olympics gold medal ever by climbing two routes on the bouldering wall where other could not finish even one and climbing highest on the lead wall.

Where the bronze medalist from Japan Akiyo Noguchi earned 64 points and silver medalist Miho Nonaka also from Japan earned 45 points, Janja Garnbet earned 5 points and was distant ahead from both of them.
