Meet the 2021 Lead Climbing World Champions!

 On 21 September, 2021 the IFSC Climbing World Championship came to a spectacular end at Moscow, Russia and the flag has been handed over to Switzerland for the upcoming 2023 Climbing World Championship at Bern, Switzerland.


Men's Gold Medal: The 30 years old Jakob Schubert of Austria won the Lead Climbing World Championship. Before this he won the Lead Climbing World Championship in 2012 at Paris and in 2018 at Innsbruck.

Women's Gold Medal: The 17 years old Seo Chaehyun from South Korea won the Lead Climbing World Championship. She completed all the routes in the qualification and semi-finals round and topped the highest hold in finals.

Men's Silver Medal: Luka Potocar the new name from Slovenia is doing rounds with silver medal in Lead Climbing World Championship. The 19 years old also won the another silver medal in September at IFSC World Cup held at Kranj, Solvenia.

Women's Silver Medal: In a very close contest ending up with a tie Natalia Grossman from U.S.A who took lesser time than the bronze medalist won the sliver medal at Lead Climbing World Championship.

Men's Bronze Medal: Hamish McArthur, you must have read this name more than gold and silver winners for unknown reasons. This bronze medalist from The Great Britain is 19 years old and finished with a score of 46+ while the women's bronze medalist finished with a score of 37.

Women's Bronze Medal: Laura Rogora from Italy missed the silver medal for taking little more time to score 37 points.
