Mt Kuchela Dhura Expedition: Upcoming Book Announcement

UPCOMING BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT: On 16 October 1964, the People's Republic of China conducted its first nuclear test in the Gobi desert of Xinjinag province of Western China which was close to the ancient silk route. In 1965 CIA & IB conducted a joint expedition to Mt Nanda Devi to plant a nuclear espionage device on the summit which was lost en-route due to bad weather. This highly reactive device is still missing somewhere on the ridge of Mt Nanda Devi and is believed to remain active for next 40 years. The story starts when IMF agrees to sponsor a team selected from all over India to climb Mt Kuchela Dhura on the majestic Mt Nanda Devi ridge in 2012.

The book is dedicated to our friend and member climber @Chetan Pandey who lost his life after few years while attempting Mt Nada Devi in 2019.
